Sorry to hear about the complications you are having. I will keep you in my thoughts. I'm sure it will all work out fine.

It's none of my business, so please disregard if I'm really stepping out of line, but...
A hysterectomy seems a very drastic measure to prevent future pregnancies. You should really do some research on them and find out all you can. There are lots and lots of side "effects" that go hand in hand with having your uterus removed. What about a tubal ligation for you AND a vasectomy for dh if they are concerned that a tubal might not be protection enough. It seems that very often doctors (and many men, in general) feel that once a woman is finished having babies that it is no big deal to have a uterus removed ("You don't need it for anything anymore anyway"). It is a big deal and I hope that you will investigate more before allowing them to take such drastic measures.

Hoping for low bp, no protein, and no hysterectomy...
