Supposedly, my son sleeps like the dead. He's slept through babies crying, construction outside his window, loud thunderstorms, etc.

Why, oh why, does he ALWAYS wake up when I open his door?

Here's my dilema. It's getting cold here now and I'm worried he won't be warm enough at night. When I put him down for the night, he likes to play for a while before going to sleep and he ALWAYS falls asleep on TOP of his blanket. So last night, thinking he sleeps so soundly, we decided to go in and put a blanket on him to be sure he was warm.

He woke up.

He screamed.

For 2 hours.

Good GOD. He wanted me to hold him the whole time - he was happy when he was out of the crib, but every time we put him back - hysterics. I couldn't get him to sleep with me in my bed, he just wanted to play.

So here's my question - how do I make sure he's warm enough without having to go in his room and thereby waking him up? Do you think a blanket sleeper is enough? His hands always feel so cold to me in the mornings.

Any advice would be appreciated!!!! I'm so tired, I took today off work lol
