COSTS $850,000.00 to get that baffle answered, according to the Giant Lava Team and their WA-CERT application. The speil of that splurge was to come after the hairbrain idea. $850,000.00 they requested is phase 2,feasibility study of the $25 million dollar project and a sheer waste. Hear say..that the axing of their application was not a light blow.

Just what Soap Lake needs. They don't have any money to operate the street lights but they will have a $100 million to operate the 50 mile beacon. How sweet. Soap Lake really should tackle this project. Blake and Glassco promised the good Mayor to save Soap Lake from becoming a Ghost town. Sounds like this project will help Soap Lake in becoming a Ghost town faster then without the 50 mile beacon. How much will the admission be? $100 bucks? That is sure to attract millions of tourists to fork over $100 to go up the Lamp for a little love.

KPFF engineering in Seattle, WA. are the consulting engineers,looming lava patent issues are no problem, the 60 ft. high searchlight feature sheds a horrendous 50 mile radius vertical beam, Haggerty Enterprises wants to work with project mgr Brent Blake who can be reached west side at 206-972-8587. From a Missourian's point of view, after reading the flawed WA-Cert giant lava lamp application, "show me" fits this backstaged backwater project that has backfired.

This post there was of interest.RE: 60 foot lava lamp. Oct-09-02. "Don't make a giant 60ft midnight series lamp! Who says you have to use a Haggerty's design any how!? I think that you should come up with your own design if Haggerty doesn't chip in! After all if it's 60ft tall & has goo flowing in it, it's a lava lamp!
The cheapest design would be to make it a three sided pyramid as all you need is flat pieces. Bullet proof or Waterworld (Shamu) glass would do!? There's no way your community could pay to have a globe made that is 35 to 40ft. Hope you get this of the ground!"
