I am sorry the doctor caused you all this. I agree that you should forgive for your sake not his but I also believe that if you can you should
try to hold him accountable for what he did. I am not a lawyer but I do beleve you have a case. Sometimes it helps to know there is accountability as long as you don't allow your hopes to be raised and take the "nothing to lose"
mind set. It is well documented that steroids cause mood symptoms likr bipolar in people that are not bipolar which is why you should have never been given it. You can find medical article
in the "More Links" section of our website. There are legal resources in the "more Links" section too. Get all your medical and pharmacy records. Pharmacy records to make show there were no other steroids. Some steroids stay in the system more than others and the higher the dose the longer it ay take to reverse. In the FAQ section I answer most frequently asked questions. It may take a few more weeks but know it should reverse. You are blessed wth a caring, loving mother. Finding a lawyer is the most stressful part because most don't uderstand steroid side-effects. Proving malpractice uually means (depending on the state you are in) you will have to go through a medical examiners board first and the burden of proof is higher. But your records state what they do so that should help. Malpractice yakes longer because of going through the board so you may want to consider a personal injury claim against the clinic it would not take as long and no board to go through.
