Alex lay on the couch, his arm curled up under his face and sobbing. Sobbing as his legs burned as if the belt were still hitting them. It seemed the blows were being laid on over and over, but they weren't. e kept hoping, let this pain die away...but it was terrible. He hated it! Suddenly hearing the uproar between the two, he chokes out another sob, weakly yelling at them to stop. He tries to shift, to twist and turn, but he was bruised all over and bleeding.
