The points of the treaty of Versailles incited the wrath of Hitler, and the submissive, passive weakness of Chamberlain provoked the RISE of Hitler, there is no doubt that, if Britain and France had acted in the Rhineland the anti-semetic fuhrer would never have become such a tyrant. I acknowledge your opinions, however as historians we have the benefits of hindsight, and we must use them. Churchill was on this occasion correct.
