 I am so upset that my TMJ headaches have returned since having the top braces put on. Is this to be expected and a temporary problem til my bite is corrected, or does this mean that the braces shouldn't have been put on? My ortho had told me that I shouldn't get braces til my headaches were gone and I wasn't getting them anymore til about a week or 2 after the braces went on. I got them on July 20. I'm still wearing a splint on my lower teeth at night. I feel like having the braces removed even though I'll still be making monthly payments for them. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
