Wow that sucks! I asked my ortho about going over the expected time, I asked if I'd have to pay more for going over and he said "No way, if your treatment takes longer than expected, that's our responsibility, not yours. We quoted you a price, and that's all you'll ever pay." The only time I'd have to pay more is if I maliciously delayed treatment, like if I constantly and purposely broke brackets off of my teeth.
