hi, i'm new here and my question is this - which teeth should be extracted? let me explain my situation, my teeth are pretty straight except for the left front tooth which is turned on the sideways, and both of my teeth are slanted OUTWARDS in like 45 degree angle. it is very uncomfortable for me to talk adn eat, so i decided to see an orthodontist.

he told me i needed to extract 4 teeth.. which happened to be my premolars. i'm 22 years old, and i can't wear braces that show gaps in the front, so i am very afraid. and i am also afraid that when my front 4 teeth closes the gap with the molar, it will look natural. people usually have premolars when they smile. i don't want to be an oddball without that.

after going to this arch-wired site, i thought omigod, i can have my back teeth removed so there wont be much difference in the front and at the same time, i can have my teeth straightened!

should i get a new orthodontist and tell him or her all about this condition, or let them decide what's best for me? it's a very tough decision, and a very expensive one too. =/
