Subject: Overrated Actors/Actresses

After throwing in my two-cents worth about George Clooney in a seperate thread, I figured it might be fun to list some other actors/actresses, who I think are overrated.

Jack Nicholson
I'm sure I just flabbergasted most of you, but I truly believe that this guy is just REALLY good at portraying his own personality on film. Despite the fact that he always delivers, he's not someone who I would consider a diverse actor.

Tom Cruise
Like Nicholson, Cruise has been in MANY good movies, some of which I own on DVD. However, I believe it's the image that has made him famous... not his acting. If it wasn't for the pretty-boy good looks and cheezy smile, I don't think he'd be on the A-list.

Kirsten Dunst
How does this chick get so many parts??? She's not really pretty, and she's doofy in every role... regardless if she's supposed to be or not. I don't get it.

Ashton Kutcher
It's not like he's recognized as that much of a talent, but really... Why does he keep getting offers, when I don't believe he's ever starred in a movie that has done well?

The BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR nominees:
Greg Kinear, Cuba Gooding Jr., Thomas Hadenchurch. I still can't believe these guys were up for Oscars, and some actually won!

Whose on your guys' lists?
