Subject: The pussification of Darth Vader

Hey, remember when Darth Vader used to be cool?

My favorite movie villain of all time (who I thought was so cool I spent most of my teen years dressing like him, in all black, combat boots and a leather trenchcoat...a look unfortunately now associated mainly with the Columbine shootings), chosen by the American Film Institute as the greatest villain in movie history...is now just a great big pussy. And apparently he works at Burger King.

As if being forever associated with Hayden Christiansen's whiny performance wasn't bad enough,Burger King has featured Vader in several commercials. In one, he's a BK employee, who responds to his manager's attempt to get him to mop the floor by cutting the mop in half with a lightsaber. In another, he tries to con some guy who just a million dollars on a BK scratch off ticket by telling him he's his father. When that doesn't work, he tells him that he's his uncle.

Really...could George Lucas possibly be a bigger whore?
