This was spent in hopes to avoid\replace the police\security coverage. We were trying to come up with a long term solution to avoid the $4,000 - $6,0000 a year expense of hiring MJPD to watch the park. The HOA board is actually very conservative in expenditures, even though it may not look that way at times.
