Subject: Well the new ring-n-pinion made it about 100 feet this time

Well I was hoping for some 8.30s - 8.40 but the differential gods wouldn't have it. On my first pass with perfect air and nos pressures. As soon as I launched I had severe wheel hop.I let off than got back on it and than the brand new ring-n- pinion just assembled by Strange engineering decided to disintegrate into a million pieces. This is the 2nd gear set in 5 passes. I think I am going with a mark williams spool this time.. See you all next year.. I will be back with some low 8 second passes. And some running on the `street..Have a great holiday season. Mark blair
