Well, it seems 18 miles and 85 degrees were too much for my little Mopar, and she puked all over the Lowe's cruise parking lot....several folks were kind enough to push my junk out of the way, and I was so busy feeling sorry for myself that I don't think I said thanks to any of them....so, thank you all very much! As a side note, I'm pretty sure, as I was coasting down hill, that I heard someone say "that thing purr's like a kitten."

I need some tech help. Im trying to install a 91 305 in my car. The problem Im having is that the motor was TBI and I making in carbureted with a mechanical fuel pump. It had a electic pump. My issue is the fuel pump rod will not go in the block its to thick. The hole feels like it is tappered. Do they make a skinner rod or do I have to run a electric pump?
