take the cover off your 7.5" and take it with you....if the rear meaures the same width,and your 7.5" cover doesn't fit..it's an 8.5"........a 8.2 rear will be wider,the spring perches will be in front of the axel tubes instead of on top,and the 8.2" should have a rib running up and across the cover,like a 12 bolt cover.Hope these little tips help you Way Fast Whitey!!. I had an interesting night last night! Coming up Rt40 in the fast lane,my left front wheel decided it didn't like my truck anymore!I felt a hard shudder,hit the brakes,then a silver streak flew off to my left!The truck then dropped what felt like 5 feet over to the left.I gently applied my brakes,signaled to the right,made a successful lane change,then pulled onto the shoulder.Got out,and the tire was still on the truck & the rim was gone!
