Hi, Kimberly,
My heart goes out to you! I have some idea of what you are going through.
Healing is possible. Right now, I would like to suggest that you read the Psalms. I think some of them will be very helpful. Also, pray if you can. There were people in the Bible who did things that were in many ways similar, but God forgave them. Learn about David and Paul. Knowing to begin with that God is willing to forgive you is the first step. After that, you must work on forgiving yourself. For now, it is all right to feel anger toward people who pushed you into it. At some point, you will have to forgive them, but that comes when you have worked through some of the issues. It is also OK to be angry with the abortionist for taking advantage of you, for now. Forgiveness is a choice. It is saying you are willing to accept the consequences of what people did to you, how they hurt you, without holding it against them.
There are many programs available for women who have had your experience. Some of them are retreats, and others are individual time spent with other women who have experienced abortion, or meetings you can go to. I haven't read it, but one book I have seen recommended several times is Her Choice to Heal. One program that is widely available is Project Rachel. It is Catholic, I believe, but they welcome people of other faiths or no faith.
Another good place is www.safehavenministries.com
May God bless you richly and heal you. We will be praying for you.
Hugs,
Pat
