Hey Kate i wasn't calling you a sexist, i was just asking if there isn't a little bit of a double standard going on. Kinda like how Racism isn't just when a 'white' person discriminates against a 'black' person, but when it exists when a 'black' person discriminates against a 'white' person and even between people of the same colour between different tribes. Tribalism of any sort isn't good! There shouldn't be such things as Patriarchy and Matriarchy, things should be even. We are all people, so i don't understand why there should be specific movements which divide the sexes rather than unite.

Like i said i don't know anything about the Riotgrrl movement being a male. If ladies wanna sing and highlight those issues then wouldn't that would be of great benefit to everyone (men and women), instead of just being confined to a female audience under the umbrella of the 'Riotgrrl movement'.

We all need to be better educated regarding such issues, and this is why it is a good thing that even Brody Armstrong is in a position to educate a wider mainstream audience which contains both Males and Females.

MrLady Records - well done to Kaia and Tammi Rae. I was just saying there needs to be more female ran labels.
