Hornblower stopped as he saw his crew gathering around a strange man. "I didn't let him on the ship," he mumbled to himself. He drew the cutlass that was at his side but held it hesitantly. "Arr..me crew be all I have, lads. Try not te be killin' all of 'em, otherwise I'll be havin' te hire yerselfs as me crew when this's all over." He looked at the two unknown men on the deck, and decided that they were responsible. "But the one wearin' black an' the one wit' the staff, I don't know them, I'm figurin' they're the one's responsible." He didn't bother to realize that the man with the staff was obviously standing against the pirate horde, not with them.
The pirates snarled and three of them advance and surrounded Raistlin, cutlasses glinting in the moonlight. Although they were deathly afraid of this man, they had no choice but to obey Orin; they had signed their names to him, and they were stuck.
Five more headed to intercept Raith, two with cutlass and sword breaker, the other three with quarter staffs.
Two others decided it was best to follow the child with the hookshot. They chased after Link, thinking he would be the easiest to dispose of.
Yet more pirates turned to Hornblower and company and charged at them. Hornblower was immediately on the defensive, not wanting to hurt his crew, no matter what they had agreed to do.
MEANWHILE
Sira sat on the table next to the crystal seeker and stared at the door. She had to obey Link this time. She knew there was nothing she could do to help, but she still felt the strongest urge to go out and do..something. She sighed and looked back to the crystal seeker, trying to puzzle it out. She felt almost connected to it somehow, but she shook her head. That was silly; the only thing she was connected to was Link, and he was probably in a lot of danger, and all she could do was sit there and hope he was alright.
