Raistlin was having a heck of a time watching the pirates and demons beating the piss out of each other, but it didn't last very long. As he hurtled towards the ground, Raistlin laughed. If he ever fell more than 5 feet, the staff's powers would kick in, and make his landing gentle. His laugher was short lived, though, as his descent didn't slow. He managed to thrust the staff through a sail canvas on his way down. The canvas ripped as Raistlin's momentum proved too much for it to handle. The sickly mage hit the deck beside Link, his leg crumpling beneath him with a *snap.* Raistlin cried out in pain, and clutched his fractured leg. He didn't try to get up, knowing that neither willpower nor muscle could make broken bone work. Instead, he reached into his pouch for a powdery substance.
