Sydney's attack worked as he planned it and the monster went down. However, as soon at the body hit the deck, five more of them landed around him in a circle, hoping that shear numbers would let them take care of him. One of the charged almost immediately, while another one stood ready to jump in as soon as Sydney moved to attack the first one.

Raith's plan also worked. When he jumped he caused two of the three Drakins to ram eachother, claws leading. The remaining monster turned around to snarl at Raith before taking to the air. Once it got up to a good hight, it made a sharp, fast dive at Raith, claws extended infront of it to grab him.

The same Drakin that dropped Rastlin watched as he hit the deck, not yet dead. It immediately started a dive, just like the one attacking Raith, intent on killing this pathetic outlander.
