wow, thats a huge main chamber, I have a bbq with a 7ft long grate surface and the city of Burlington fits in there...

I have read a few threads on the topic of one door or two..

Most if not all have said that one door is better unless you "hinge" the bar between the doors..

another thing to consider is a door on either side of the cooker....I have doors on either side and it works great..

Are you familiar with the Lang cooker from Georgia???

He uses a large door on either side with a rear offset firebox?
