Subject: brisket results

well with all the advice i recieved from everyone the brisket cook went real well . it was ready by mid afternoon and we ate around 6 pm . it was a great meal . and yes Johnny i did rub it the night before and the wood of choice was a good chunk of pecan and one fist size of cherry . thanks to Qfan for the pecan . it had a beauty smoke ring , was very moist and tasted as good as it looked . the only change i will make in the future is get a 12 pack though lol . reg
