Microevolution is science, as it involves slight variations *within* a particular species. But the evolution that tries to explain we came from oragnic slime is 100% based on faith. There is no evidence in all the world to prove that kind of evolution. Therefore, since it is based on faith, it is a religion. It seems to me that you're trying to counter faith with faith. I'll stick to my faith so that I will be with my creator. If you stick to your faith, the least you can do for me is tell Charles Darwin I said hello.
Where is the mysterious "missing link?" If we evolved from organic slime as evolution suggests, the earth would be completely flooded with fossils linking species together. Yet how many do we have? None. All of the bones and fossils on earth are either of species still living, or species that are extinct. Where are all the intermediary species? Maybe the alien species that built the pyramids hid them on Planet Zgork, under the direction of their king, Elvis Presley.
Mutations do not change species from one to another. They just change the species itself. No matter how many genetic mutations a dog has, it will still be a dog. A mutation will not give a dog wings. The information for the creation of wings is simply not there.
Fish that can live out of water for a long time are not evidence of evolution. They are evidence that God created a fish that can live out of water for awhile.
As humans, our feeble minds are bound by the laws of physics. Now, imagine designing and creating a whole new universe that has nothing to do with space, time, or matter. That's a concept that we cannot even comprehend. The Lord is truly a master designer whose creation I will not take for granted. His supreme intelligence spans the universe for us to wonder at, from the distant galaxies to the atom.
Unfortunately some people are too busy rebuking Him because a by-product of believing in evolution is the suggestion that we should live for the moment--for our short life on earth--an impulse of our generally-sinful, "instant gratification" nature.
