Sorry for my childish definitions last night, but I was having fun after listening to some good ol' conservative talk radio.

Conservative and liberal are not polar opposites - in fact they tend to agree on many items. In an ideal world conservatives and liberals would work together to achieve their common goal. While I think liberals are full of hooey, and most liberals would think the same of me, that does not mean that I discount their opinion. Unfortunately I have found that most libs are poorly educated on the topics they feel so strongly liberal about and as people begin to investigate the way of things they tend towards conservatism.

Realists and communists are not opposites either, however a communist is not a realist since communism has been shown to be a fatally faulted system.
