Ah but the point is my obsessed friend that all guys don't like guns. Some of us realize that while they certainly are useful they are also detrimental as hell. That's why you and I keep them locked up, even in the privacy and sanctity of our homes. Why? Because curious hands have a way of finding even that which is well hid. And we both know how boys feel about guns don't we.

Imagine the devistation on a family if one sibling blows the other's head off. That's the kind of shit that will really ruin lives. Rape, crime, even murder is a terrible thing, but we as adults know and accept the risks we face. That's why we mitigate those risks in a real proactive manner. Guns don't even figure in on the action plan to keep my family safe. If it comes to the point where a gun is necessary I have failed as a father, husband, and protector. It really is that simple.
