I think these people that give their time, sweat & energy on a volunteer basis are unbelievable. Especially when you think that they are losing money or have to be in a dangerous situation away from their own families. The unsung heroes - isn't that the term for these folks. I'm sorry your DH won't be able to make your trip with you and the kids. I'm sure his help will be much appreciated by all involved.
