Subject: Does it count if I walked through the grass and got my slippers wet? I didn't know about the barefoot tradition. It was interesting to see the way some people did things at Stonehenge this year in a small clip on the news.
In reply to: Viive 's message, "Have fun tonight Kate, and whomever else is celebrating midsummer! In Estonian tradition, one seeks the ever-elusive flowering fern at midnight. Putting it under your pillow will bring you dreams of your future. Dew collected on midsummer's eve apparently holds the secret to youthful skin, and has many therapeutic qualities. My people of old used to bottle the dewdrops...and run barefoot through the grass in the wee hours too." on 09:40:58 06/21/06 Wed
