Subject: (((((hugs)))))) last week we had the hottest most disgustingly humid day on record in Toronto, opening the door at night to let my cat in I felt like I was hit with a blast from a boiler room...anyway, today is finally a bit cooler, pleasant. Last week with the humidity it felt like 47degrees Celsius, which is..um..40 is 104 F...right, 47C is 116.6Fahrenheit. Toronto is NOT set up for heat like that, we had power failures in some areas due to overuse of power...in this heat no one can really think 'deep thoughts' LOL, it's a miracle if we can think at all. I don't know how people survive in constant humidity! I'm a true northerner, I like a nice sunny day and a cool breeze at night!
In reply to: Isabelle 's message, "Hey don't worry about it, I just felt bad that I lost it before I could answer it and didn't want you to think I was ignoring you. I unfortunately don't have a lot of spiritual thoughts to add to the board right now, it's summer, we do little trips here and there, saw Bo Bice last week at the house of Blues in Myrtle Beach, but you might not know who he is. As for reading, still working my way through the 'In death' series from JD Robb. Ron, remember, I bought the first one when we were at books a million together here in Florida 'g'" on 18:40:35 08/05/06 Sat

[> [> [> Bo Bice is a nice eye candy if I'm not mistaken....*whistling innocently*....I'm sure it was fun!! Tiina and I got tickets to see Eric Clapton in September, I'm SOOO looking forward to that! She has a good friend named Layla, whose parents are also Eric Clapton fans from way back, can you tell by the name? Layla keeps us up on Clapton's performances... -- none other than me again..Viive, 22:43:03 08/05/06 Sat

[> [> [> [> Hey that sounds fun, I really like Eric Clapton. Our nephew is in a rock band called P.R.Y.D.E, they are rising in the business, mostly for being under 17 and very talented, been on MTV and quite a few shows, as well as Germany twice. Anyway they are part of the Warped tour this year and having a blast playing with some of the big names. -- Isabelle, 17:08:49 08/06/06 Sun

[> [> [> [> [> Also as humidity goes, I can imagine it's not fun when a place is not meant to be that hot, it would be us here with snow 'g'. It is very humid here in Florida in the summer, but from november till April, it is just amazing how beautiful it is, so it's worth suffering a few months. As for Bo Bice, he is cute yes, we voted for him on American Idol, but he really sings well and still very humble and grounded... -- IsabelleKiltup, 17:11:55 08/06/06 Sun
