Subject: Long Time

Ahhhhhh....we all seem to have gotten caught up with our lives and meandered away from here. It's been weeks since anyone posted. I just want you all to know I miss "seeing" you all. I have been so very busy and life has been hectic. I've had a few curve-balls thrown my way, but all in all Life is Good and I wish I had more time to read and post.
How is everyone? I see you have a book due, Martina. HURRAY!!!!! Good for you!!!
Keira, I just loved talking to you the other day. I miss you like crazy, Girl!!! Hope Everyone is well and happy. (((HUGS))) to you all.

Mike is not doing well at all this weekend. He went to the centre for palliative care on Friday and took a turn for the worse. Lillian has been with him over the weekend but he is going downhill fast. My other uncles have been calling and keeping us updated as they get any news from the palliaitve team. The team have been marvelous with letting the family know how Mike is doing. This morning, Denis, from England called me to say they think it might be just a matter of hours. They have Mike on a liberal amount of morphine as he was extremely uncomfortable and the morphine is keeping him somewhat comfortable. I have not spoken to Lillian or Mike but I will pass on your thoughts and regards. I will let you know if things change. You are such a good friend, Betsy-thank you!!!!
