Subject: Hi Martina. How are JS, your daughter (Sinja??) and Antje doing? I can't believe you're in the Yukon... can the man do anything typical? Like bring his bride back to Cincinnatti Ohio or Toronto, Canada... hope you have your woolies close at hand year round. Of course I haven't put my woolies away yet.
In reply to: Martina 's message, "Thanks for the update, Jennifer! Happy and broke and healthy here too! *G* Wow, your boys have grown up, eh? Where did the time go??? Great news about your house! Canada has been a big adventure for me! And Sinja finished highschool here, tomorrow is her prom! She wants to study geology in Germany, and the diploma will help with that. Her english is excellent now, which is also a great asset in Europe, where english is more and more demanded in business.

JS got to see the country differences very clearly now, and he thinks he has better job chances in Germany. The technical development is a bit farther over there, especially in his field. In the Yukon he has to fix radios from the last world war.*g* In short: he feels bored. He likes using the latest technologies, and they just don't use them up here, and some not even in whole Canada.

That's only one of his reasons. Another one is that Sinja doesn't want to live here (too boring for teenagers*g*. Many other things, small ones and big ones, made us decide to go back. I like it here (not necessarily the f'ing cold Yukon, but Canada in general), and I'm not looking forward to going back to the same old same old. But I'm the only one with that opinion, so I was overruled.*g*
