The actual design also has an outer bit of knots also but I thought I'd go for the simple first and have the more intricate knotting added later. Hmmm...hands and arms going numb at night? Sounds a bit like carpel tunnel syndrome. Have you had it checked out? It can be repaired very easily these days, usually under a local or just a conscious sedation if there are no complications.
