Subject: Oh how weird. I had replied to two messages below and then posted a new one asking the same question and none of it showed up!! So in answer to my own and Antje's question (hehe) we had to get a fake one last year. Our two kitties and the dog would sit under the real one and do everything they could to drink the water out of the holder! Silly little things. Then they would get the pine sap all over their fur and everthing but the kitchen sink would stick to them hahahaha. I hate having an artificial one but we didn't know if the animals would get sick from the pine sap or not and the tree would just dry out so darn fast. Also our ornaments start up a little higher than most peoples tree because one of the kitties east everything in site. I think he's got brain damange or something ; )
