Subject: I can hear Churchill ringing in my ears....We have met the Enemy and it is Us...Is this true or what????? We are the force that limits our achievments. It is we ourselves that cause so much pain for us. Just think what we could do if we were unencumbered by our own fears!?!

[> [> The first thing that comes to my mind is the saying "there's nothing to fear but fear itself". So true. I hear that little voice in my head on a daily basis and it's when I ignore it completely (and boy do I feel rebellious when I do that), that I feel happiest. Another thing I've heard regarding this little voice is that it's the other side of good - the evil that puts doubts in our minds to create conflict. I'm not sure I believe that but I've read about it several times. One of the hardest things people do is try to focus on who they really are. So many don't know and spend so much time trying to "figure it out" rather than just "being". Does that make sense? It's late and I had to watch the 1st Lord of the Rings movie for the umpteenth time! -- Lori, 01:52:09 10/26/03 Sun
