You make the point, several times, that the GAFF boarders have devolved to something not only flame-PRODUCING, but flame-ENCOURAGING, even.

I must have just missed that completely. In all the time I've spent on this board (and it's longer than I've been posting - if anyone by any chance remembers when that was. I don't) I've only seen all-out FLAMES when in response to flames. Now, I don't agree with the "fight fire with fire" mentality behind that, but from my point of view it means that flames are only used by these boarders as a very last resort when simple snark (the purpose of this boards existance - correct me if I'm wrong) or (more or less) calm reason just won't make the troll go away.

I thought this board was here to mock badfic? to snark at really horrible badfic? If I am mistaken, here, PLEASE let me know, Site Guru.
Or are we flaming the badfics when we post them here, pointing out the badness/silliness of them? Because, you see, that's all I've seen happening on this board. (Bar the counter-flaming of flaming trolls.)

MKIceman, can I please have your definition of "Flame", and why you think this board has taken such a turn towards the flamer mentality? 'Cause I just don't see it. And I've been scared off of plenty of flame-happy boards in the past, so I find it weird that no little warning bells have started to ring... before this whole debate, that is... :(
