Maybe 'Bananabrain' can be one of the unnamed blond elves?

I do like the idea of writing fic about minor characters (currently working on a story featuring a character who appears in canon exactly once - as ashes in an urn), but the challenge in that kind of thing is in working out a personality from the small amount that canon already gives you. How would that work for Figwit stories? "Oh, I loved your Gandalf and Elrond, but I think Figwit's characterisation was lacking something. I've always seen him as a little more dark-haired than that."

Or, wait - does he have a fanon personality to go along with the not-actually-all-*that*-pretty face?
