And hosting your own XXX site gets you into legal issues--you know you are legally required to restrict access to over-18, right? Some fansites skate by with a click-through "You're over 18, right?", and technically the laws on adult sites refer to imagery, not text, but...

(And then you have the issue of being the owner of an 'adult site', with your name attached to the domain. Is this something you want to show up on background checks by employers, and whatnot? )

It may be the only way to be able to freely criticize NC-17 litter--er, "literature", but I'm just pointing out it is not a no-brainer, easy solution. Ownership has its own issues, beyond paying the bills.
