Subject: Maybe this is why we got kicked off.....

Not to bring up old discussions or anything, but I was thinking about some stuff. When we found out that we got kicked off, we automaticlly blamed it on the sexual content.
Which is pretty resonible considering the amount that was on here, but you guys always had that going on and you've been up for a few years. Why now? See, maybe it wasn't sexual, but it was legal.

I think that we did break Invisionwhatever's rules, but they had to have noticed way before this. Do you seriously think that some pissed off authors didn't try to report the board. So it couldn't have been that, unless it was a very *powerful* pissed off author.

You guys said that at one time, their was a Anne Rice fanfic on one of the disscussions. If you know fanfic, you'll know that Anne Rice completely loaths the idea of fanfic being written for her books. As a matter of act, there are rumors that she has even used lawyers.
Lets say, that a pissed off author found you guys saying bad stuff about thier story and tried to report it, first time they used sexual stuff, and just got ignored. They search for a little while, and find the Anne Rice discussion, a lightbulb goes of in their head. "Hey, if I send this to the board host with some select information about Anne Rice and fanfic, maybe I can get them off." So they set it up and send it to the host, and the host gets scared and kicks us off.

I know, a little bit of a stretch, but people will go to great lengths for revenge. And who says it has to be a author, maybe they just came across it, or some snicth did it. Who knows?
I'm not saying that that is exactly what happened, but its a possibilty.
(thinking about it some more, it may even explain the time and the absences of a warning)

Oh, one more thing, if you are thinking why not just take off the disscussion itself, if they get the whole board off, they would also be removing that pesky sexual content...
