Hi anonymus person!

I guess I used to be you, without the internet. I started taking university classes at 16, and everyone treated me like a little kid. The funny thing about that was that I'd probably read and learned more in my 16 years than they had in their 20+ years. Like MK said, it's not really about age, it's about the way you present yourself. Where at uni I couldnt hide the fact that I was a tiny, skinny and excessively clumsy teen, on the internet noone will know your age unless you tell them. As long as you feel confident in what you have to say, it shouldn't matter if you're 12 or 32. If you feel more comfortable just watching, that's okay too. But remember that blind admiration is not the way to go. Even 20-something college students can say fairly rediculous things. They're quite known for it actually ;)

I like your writing style, and you seem to think about what you type (which, again, is something a lot of 20 somethings don't seem to do :). I would love to hear your opinion on things, so I hope you decide to stick around. There's nothing wrong with lurking and posting occasionally, I have done so quite often myself, and it's the way I started out on this board as well.

-Ilse
