Actually, many hours after having posted this topic, my evil associate comes online and when I tell her about our research on this particular line, she comes out with "oh yeah, I'd understood what the author meant" (ie: "he who washes not"). Which is why it's good to be a team to MST. ;)

Well, I feel that it's really got to be done right to sound good. For example, to me, "get out of my way, you git" sounds much better than "get out of my way, he who washes not". However, it fits perfectly in a rant, and can be much more fun than simple insults ("I was trying to do my homework when he who washes not came to stick his abnormally large nose where it didn't belong"). It really depends on the context and on how clever the author is at inserting the insults at the right moment - and creativity plays a part in it, too ("Know-It-All" wasn't even that funny in PoA, so making Snape repeat it all the time doesn't make him look very clever).

Obviously, we will, especially as I got confused and she didn't! That provides ideal interaction for MSTing. ;)
