So, if I never read the fic that spawned this trend, can I still adopt an asterisk? Because I just did. :) I think a pet asterisk is a wonderful idea, really. (Of course it doesn't hurt that my cyber-boyfriend works for a sentient comma....)

And it's spelled "asterisk". No one seems to be able to spell it right!
