Subject: Premiership knobheads trying to ruin the game, part 42382538549

Kieron Dyer may take legal action against Tahar El Khalej, despite the Moroccan apologising for the tackle which has cost him a World Cup place.
The Newcastle midfielder, who many had tipped to solve England's left-sided woes, saw his dream trip to the Far East shattered when the Southampton defender caught him with a filthy challenge during Saints' 3-1 win.
El Khalej has now issued an apology to Dyer for the tackle that left him with knee ligament damage, but that has not stopped the player considering legal action against the Saints star.
"We have considered legal action, certainly against the player and possibly his club," said Dyer's agent Jonathan Barnett. "We would like to take some action, but we shall have to be advised by the lawyers on how to quantify the damage.
"There is no doubt a player of Kieron's standing would lose out on sponsorship endorsements that might not be realised for another four years.
"A successful World Cup might have inspired a big bid from a top European club," he told the Daily Express.
El Khalej, meanwhile, has made an attempt to build some bridges with Dyer by apologising for the tackle that saw him leave St Mary's in tears.
The 33-year-old, who only played on Saturday because Paul Williams failed a late fitness test, said: "I'm so sorry for what has happened. I never meant to hurt him. I went for the ball but it was a bad tackle.
"I was late as he was too quick for me. Never in my life have I tackled a player and he has stayed down like that."

It wasn't that bad a tackle for fucks sake, he went for the ball but was late, if he meant to hurt him then furry muff but he didn't. Would anyone even think about tackling David Beckham if he could sue you for loss of earnings????????

And yes, our top scorer is none other than Gordon Watson!!!

[> [> Whilst I suspect you may be wearing a plastic england bowler hat with 'THE SAN' printed on it, one thing did annoy me with the recent plague of 'Falklands - 20 years on' documentaries. It was the sight of retarded apologists like Tam Dalyell claiming that the sinking of the Belgrano started the Falklands war. pardon me for asking, but wasn't it the Argentinians invading the Falklands that started the war about a month previously? -- orfc, 12:45:25 05/13/02 Mon (146.176.162.14)
