[> Despite being non-league shite, we have Sheffield United, a supposed full strength Middlesbrough, and.......er.....North Ferriby Utd. Talking of pre-season, will H'Angus be coming to the McCain with the Pools, or has he hung up (sorry) his costume since he got his lah-de-dah £53K a year job ? -- BG, 16:38:41 05/23/02 Thu (195.195.249.9)

[> [> Rumour has it that Kiddy have come under such huge demand for tickets from Cheltenham's massive fan base that they've agreed to relay the match back to big screens to be set up outside Whaddon Road, where at least 10000 Cheltenham fans will watch, all having turned up on the previous Tuesday night. -- Pat_M, 22:57:47 05/23/02 Thu (195.92.67.70)

[> As a proper club our pre-season friendlies are geared towards preparing the squad for the coming season rather than giving the local part time fans the chance to see some famous players outclassing the local journeymen whilst only playing at 50%. St Blazey, Tiverton, Brechin, Hamilton, Forfar another Scottish team who I can't remember, Nottingham Forest and Charlton -- Jesus Quintana, 18:33:50 05/24/02 Fri (139.184.14.18)

[> The Swans are going on a pre-season tour of Holland, then we've got Chelsea and Crystal Palace. Makes a change from last season - our biggest friendly was, er, Bury -- Jaques R. Goingup, 20:48:50 05/24/02 Fri (195.92.168.167)
