Subject: Just saying hi...

Hi Everyone,

I know it has been such a long time since I have been here, and so much has happened in our lives over the past few months. My sister came to visit us in Washington State back in January, we had discussed how much I missed family and how hard it was to move away from everyone 14 years ago.

Well in February, Dave lost his job and with in a few weeks we were moving back to Ohio. We loaded up our stuff and made clear across the United States (almost) with just a few snowflakes, in February... can you imagine that! I truly feel that we were just meant to do this!

Well, he found another job, and we have been staying with my parents.. we were actually going to move into the old farmhouse where my dad grew up, I grw up and my kids even spent several years there also...my dad had just built another home becasue my mom couldn't do stairs anymore and there were way to many steps in their house... and when we came he asked if we could just stay here with them, help out... Dad has cataracts really bad and Momhas fallen three times since then. It has been great being back home but at times it does get a little stressful cause there is always a houseful! I do the cooking and cleaning best I can... and she....mom has become very forgetful also. They say it is her short term memory.
But anyway... I just wanted to let you all know I am continuing to hold all of you close in my heart and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers... I think of you all so often... and have missed everyone here more than you could know. I don't get a chance to get online alot .. my computer is down so I am using one of my mom's.

Oh yes... I also wanted to tell you about Bryan... he is getting ready to return to Iraq.. for a year adn a half... his family, will be going to Louisiana to be near her family while he is gone, and Greg and his family have also moved here... the end of May, and they now live in the old farmhouse. His children are the 5th generation to grow up there. Triston is so excited to be on the farm.. he is 8 yrs old, Emily loves the horses but thought she should feed them bananas cause ran out of apples, she just turned 6... and Ashton is three... and has learned to ride his bike without training wheels. They can ride to my house without going on the road... there is a big track, where they train the racehorses, and they ride on that when the horses aren't out there. There are also 19 barn cats and when I was up at the barn yesterday I noticed that several were pregnant again... I asked my sister how many.. she lives in the house my parents just moved out of between me and the farmhouse... she said I don't know... I just feed them when I feed the horses. My daughter in law is the one who said she counted 19.

Now for the update on Missy... my Missy... Bryan, my son, asked for an address or anything I had on her, I had found a website with the name of the band that I found out the brothers had started... it had an address and phone number.
They even have a CD out there.... well anyway, he stopped to see her...it didn't go very well. He said he nneded to get some things settled in his life before going back to Iraq this time. I am hoping that just seeing him, will make a difference someday.

For now, I am just asking that you all keep her in your prayers... I has always prayed that someday God would put me in teh right place at the right time, maybe that is part of the reason I am here. Maybe someday she will knock on the door...
I love you guys... hope to make it back more often if I can hold on the link this time... thanks for sending it to me again, Betty...
Love,
Char
