I too miss HOLAS. I really need someplace to come to so I could have the love and support that was once offered here. I am dealing with so much that sometimes it is overwhelming. If I didn't have Nightowl and MaliMali (both of whom I met here in HOLAS)to lean on now, I would probably be a basketcase.

My sister has CJD (Creutzfeldt Jacob Disease which is the human form of Mad Cow) and is in final stages of the disease. We were told in August that she had early onset alzheimers but we learned in December that it was much more insidious than that. My mother has melanoma and was doing really well until we learned recently that it has metasized to her lung and liver. She is starting a clinical trial this coming Wednesday 4/5/05 which has had really good results in patients with colon cancer but it is just now being offered to Melanoma patiets. My dad who is 87 has alzheimers and he is not a nice person, not that he was a very nice person before he was diagnosed. You all know I have major problems of my own and this past week I have learned that I may now have a blockage of the renal artery.

Please all those who know me if you could say prayers or whatever you do for me and my family. For Mom and Barbara prayers may be all we have left.
