Mix up about a tablespoon of honey and the juice of a lemon. Take a teaspoon at a time about an hour or so apart. Swallow slowly and don't drink anything for a while after so that the concoction can work a bit. Actually, I find that licking it off the spoon a bit at a time coats the throat better than just swallowing it in one gulp. Good luck!
