Believe me; it's not easy sometimes, and I still fret some now and then over my kids, (the youngest is 33 yo), but I made it a rule, (for myself), when they were teenagers not to start worrying until they were at least 15 minutes late getting home from someplace and hadn't called to say they'd be late. Anything over a half hour was game, for not only fretting but getting ticked off at them and venting on them when they showed up and punishable by a week's grounding as well.

When they finally move out on their own, you can let go and only worry when they don't call at least once a week to see what's new or to ask advice. (That's a sign that they are ready to handle their own danged problems of life, and you can relax till they call looking for money.) 8^)

Peace and sympathetic hugs,
Betty
