Remember when my dad died and I was feeling depressed, you cheered me up. You sent me encouragement. That meant a lot to me. Betty, think about all the people you have helped. Can you remember the words you said to them?
Sweety, take those words you have told to others and pull them into yourself. It is time you loved you and sent your beating heart to yourself. Does that make sense?
You are a worthy and special lady. We know it here, even if you don't think it.
As to your friendship, all friends bicker at times. We are only human and unfortunately we are subject to human emotions. I would give your friend some time and space.
Betty, I for one know you have grit, because you take the time to post here. Please keep this avenue open.

As to blaming anyone for depression, we all know the truth, so there is no need for an apology or an explanation!!!
