If the 'issue' was when the window closes, our signing stats would be average. But they aren't. We are (until last season) consistently slower than the rest of the division at signing players. Until last season our average signing was 8 days after the divisional average. Thats a week extra pre season, per player, on average that other clubs are getting with their signings.
