They were 3rd for most of season before falling off ; finished in a European place and even had a visit to Wembley ( seemingly so important to many here ). Yes Manager and Players have to take their share , but there’s no doubting his drive and presence compared to Khan. This is what I abhor , his total disconnect with the fanbase -- SW6.doc

Each to their own. I'd personally prefer an owner who is less high profile (was never a fan of MAF and his scarf twirling, me me me approach), and doesn't feel the need to run onto the pitch and berate the manager at the end of a dissapointing match. Ranty shouty owners tend to go the same way as ranty shouty managers. Great at first, then the impact of the ranty shoutiness wears off. - Whether attending or otherwise those Owners you mention have in place the right people to make the right decisions . Not for them giving positions of responsibility titles to ‘ First-Borns’ or employing inexperienced Fathers and Sons as chief scouts .   - They've stomached losses (yes some self-inflicted) more than most. They're the only ones in my lifetime that haven't implied or intended that our time at the Cottage could end. And a bad start, they stuck with it, got in the right manager and have invested deliberately and well (if not optimally) since. They aren't debt-financed private equity or white washing a repressive regimes. They seem to have made their money honestly and go about their ownership quietly. I'm a fan!       - I like your observations during the season when we are doing well but as soon as the close season arrives you get all angsty & the knee starts jerking & the Khan takedown starts up again until Mickey gets the signings he approves of. I've learnt over many years that despite underwhelming signings, Silva seems to put out a functioning team and then Mickey goes quiet again. Can you not wait till August?
