Definitely still stands. I had no idea. That is ridiculous. Diop's a superb defender. What he lacks in passing ability could easily have been made up by Berge/Cairney dropping deep like we saw yesterday. Yes, his passing was a liability when we had Palhinha in that spot as there was no good passer to get the ball to. But once we signed Berge that should've been enough and we could've targeted a younger and cheaper CB than Andersen for that 2ns RCB slot.
